Finding organic lubricant ingredients that meet true whole-food standards used to be more difficult than it should have been. Raw coconut oil is widely used as a natural lubricant because it hydrates, protects, and is gentle on the skin. Its one limitation is that it solidifies at room temperature. Nothing ruins the moment like saying, “I'll be back, I have to warm the lube.”

Simple, Clean, and Pure Organic Lubricant Ingredients

Organic Lubricant Ingredients

The Solution

In the beginning, I set out to create a truly pure, organic coconut oil–based lubricant; however, raw, unfiltered coconut oil solidifies at room temperature. To achieve a smooth, consistently fluid formula, I blended it with another favorite: organic, unfiltered avocado oil. Naturally similar in pH, avocado oil helps maintain a silky, liquid consistency while delivering a nutrient-dense dose of vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids that nourish and protect delicate tissue. The result is a thoughtfully balanced, minimalistic blend that feels as good as it performs.

Refining the Experience

Although edible and nutritious, natural coconut and avocado oils have an earthy scent that can feel off-putting for intimacy. To solve this, we added a minute amount of naturally derived organic coconut aldehyde. Sustainably sourced from real coconuts, it gently softens the aroma and adds a clean, faint, creamy tropical note. This organic lubricant contains no synthetic fragrance and no harsh masking agents.

Our Non-Negotiables

Many supposed organic lubricants rely on refined coconut and avocado oils stripped of nutrients, along with filler seed oils. Coco De Luxe does not. The result is a pure, minimal, nourishing organic lubricant that stays true to nature.

Less Is More

Many organic lubricant ingredients use seed oils that oxidize quickly or refined oils stripped of nutrients, both of which irritate sensitive skin. Coco De Luxe took a different approach. We use only raw, unfiltered, cold-pressed, certified-organic virgin coconut and avocado oils to create a nutrient-rich, plant-based organic lubricant that hydrates, protects, and soothes. A subtle touch of naturally derived organic coconut aldehyde completes the formula, enhancing the experience while keeping it pure.

Three Simple Ingredients

Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

Cold-pressed from fresh coconuts, this oil delivers deep hydration and natural antimicrobial protection. Its medium-chain fatty acids and antioxidants help support the skin barrier, calm irritation, and absorb cleanly, leaving no residue.

Key Benefits

  • Hydrates and soothes sensitive skin

  • Supports barrier repair and natural protection

  • Lightweight, silky finish

  • Helps maintain healthy pH and skin balance

  • Antimicrobial and antioxidant support

  • Organic lubricant ingredients

Organic Avocado Oil

Cold-pressed, unfiltered, and nutrient-dense, organic avocado oil replenishes and restores delicate skin. Rich in vitamins A, D, and E, lecithin, and essential fatty acids, it helps reduce inflammation, support healing, and improve elasticity.

Key Benefits

  • Deeply nourishes and hydrates

  • Soothes and renews skin

  • Helps maintain natural pH and microbiome balance

  • Supports collagen, healing, and elasticity

  • Lightweight and non-greasy

Naturally Derived Organic Coconut Aldehyde

Plant-based and naturally derived, this organic ingredient adds a whisper-soft, creamy, natural coconut aroma. Despite the name, Organic Coconut Aldehyde is neither an aldehyde nor an essential oil. It is, however, a natural "isolate" lactone. Used in very small amounts, it gently balances the natural scent of raw oils while remaining safe for even the most sensitive skin.

Skin Sensitivity Concerns

Although rare, if you believe you are sensitive to any of our ingredients, request a free sample and perform a patch test. Apply a small amount to the inside of your wrist or inner thigh and wait 24 hours to see if you experience a reaction.
